Why you'd want to live in LoSo (Lower South End)
Just south of Charlotte’s historic South End neighborhood, just a few blocks further down Tryon Street, is another neighborhood called “LoSo,” or “Lower South End.” Easily accessible by light rail at the Scaleybark Station, this entertainment district is home to a growing number of watering holes, crafting all sorts of alcoholic beverages (including beer, cider, liquor and even mead) — along with neighboring restaurants, coffee shops and fitness studios. Cooking classes, indoor rock climbing, an escape room and even axe-throwing all round out activities in LoSo — which is still just a short drive (or light rail ride) from Uptown and easily accessible to the most popular neighborhoods in the 277 loop.
