Started in 1927 by Charlotte’s E.C. Griffith Company, and the first suburb in Charlotte with driveways for motorcars, Eastover is considered to be one of Charlotte’s finest historic neighborhoods. Full of towering trees, winding streets and amazing architecture with small businesses outlining the neighborhood on the east, Eastover is home to The Mint Museum of Art, Eastover Park, and one of Charlotte’s oldest Elementary Schools, Eastover Academy.
