Why you'd want to live in Coventry Woods
From the neighborhood website: Welcome to Coventry Woods, a diverse and cohesive neighborhood in East Charlotte. Who lives here? Bankers and business owners; professors and potters; mechanics and symphony musicians; sales reps and retirees. Coventry Woods includes families that moved in 40 years ago – and folks who just arrived. We all love our proximity to the heart of Charlotte – we’re one traffic light from Uptown. We love our well-built homes and our spectacular canopy of trees. The Coventry Woods Neighborhood Association is a voluntary-membership neighborhood association. Our board members, all unpaid volunteers, speak before the City Council on a variety of area issues, and work in other ways on behalf of this neighborhood, from code enforcement to filing a law suit against city hall to stop low-quality development. Please observe our custom: Nod, smile and wave at anyone you meet when walking, jogging, bicycling or driving in Coventry Woods. We who live here are not strangers. We are neighbors.
